you know, I went the other day to Foodies to try the "burger of the world" (i don remember the name) and they were out of them that day. I need to return. I've been going through their menu (i really like burgers) and they have all been great : )
What a bounty of suggestions! Haven’t been to VANTRE in a while but know it’s good is very good. Excellent wine.Wonderful desserts, too, so glad you enjoyed it there.
I'm not a vegan, but I don't want to eat meat every day, so TonTons is added to my list. I'll be back in Paris for a full month, so I need many options, and I'm bookmarking all of your suggestions.
Another fantastic sharing of places to dine. Looking forward to our next visit to see family in Savoie (and we always tack on four days in Paris.) All of those listed are strong contenders for us to visit. Thank you!!
We looked at your favorites list last night and ended up having a delightful very traditional meal at Chez Paul. And last week we went to Bistrot des Tournelles. Also excellent (the Tarte Tatin was especially good) but the noise level was insufferable. Thanks for continuing to provide valuable advice. - A Happy Subscriber
Thanks Barry. I've been a few times and didn't find it that noisy although it's a small place and I guess some of it depends on who the other diners are. (The noise level has ramped up in restaurants in Paris lately, and yesterday, three people who were sitting next to us in a restaurant were so loud, we could barely talk over them.)

So, after I try it I might come back🤔
I am drooling. Apologies if that is rude, but every single one of those meals sounded like something I would love. Was that your beignet? (swooning).
Kubri sounds amazing!
The pictures and descriptions are so beautiful. I love your writing so much! Informative, but feels like I’m talking to a friend.
Love the picture of the Roti chicken...so seductively plated :)
cue the music <3
Thank you. Interesting and v useful as always.
Definitely adding these to my list!

to be honest, I was surprised I like it so much - I'm not vegan either but like good food...
: )
I usually fill in my veggie days with Miznon, Gyoza Bar, or Asian places near my rental in the 2eme.
A delicious way to start my morning! Thank you

The minister of tourism needs to put you on the payroll ... these are worthy of a stop in Paris on my way south....
