The only two food blogs I regularly follow. This is so fun! David and Deb’s blog narrative is what makes them relatable, fun and charming. And their experience and humor are priceless.

Lovely entertaining and personable podcast and so fun to listen to while I’m baking! When you were talking about the yoga models (and their abs!), I thought of a quote I just read from James Clear (author of Atomic Habits): "You can go to hell without moving an inch, just focus on what you lack. You can taste heaven without leaving earth, just rejoice in what you have."

And if I’m making one of your or Deb’s recipes, I’m definitely in heaven! Your gluten-free brownies were a big hit this week when I made them for the families at my local Ronald McDonald House!

What a fun episode. Deb is a great talker, as we say in radio.

Oh my goodness such a fan of both of you! This was so fun. You both paved the way before me when I started blogging in 2009 and I loved for your RSS feeds 😆

Thanks! I remember RSS feeds and was sad that people stopped using them. They were a really good way to keep up with blog - not sure why they disappeared (?)

I'm a huge fan of Deb Perelman & her blogs and cookbooks! Her recipes are foolproof and delicious! I've lucky to have "discovered" her in her earliest blogs! She's just great!

I never want to be the guy who criticizes new things or what the next generation is doing, but TikTok is problematic for a variety of reasons. My friends who are on it say sometimes they'll get massive engagement on a post, then another, they'll get nothing. Also I guess the commenters on TikTok come from all over the place and people aren't necessarily very nice. It's just not for me : )

Agreed David! I am not a fan of Tik Tok.

There is a great guy who fixes/repairs KitchenAid mixers and mine was leaking oil and a friend sent me a link to his TikTok account, where he showed how to take the head off the mixer, clean it, and put it back on. (Which was easy!) For that, I think TikTok works : )
