I had to laugh at the Picard part! When I was a poor student in Paris, frozen (trimmed and cleaned) veggies from Picard were an excellent value (no waste). There aren't any in Rome (although I have seen a shop in Milan) and I miss it.
That was lots of fun, thank you! As a Canadian, we have loads of French and American influences, given our history and proximity, so it was extra fun to hear humour about both as an ‘outsider’ looking in at both countries:)
